Dar es Salaam will be awash in glitz and fashionista episodes this week with the annual Swahili Fashion week kicking off on November 4th. Showcasing designers and creatives from Swahili speaking countries it serves as a platform for the fashion industry in the region and the East African gateway to the international market. This years Swahili Fashion Week will feature runway shows by a host of established and up and coming designers including Fahra Sultan, Kemi Kalikawe, Kikiromeo, Chichia London, and Mpho Kuaho.
