South African Designer Laduma Ngxokolo inspirations are deeply rooted in his culture (Xhosa). Traditional African attire and costume in many instances has meaning rather than being being worn solely for the sake of fashion.
Laduma is one such African Designer who is interested in infusing traditional cultural aspects and interpretations in his predominantly menswear knitwear brand MaXhosa by Laduma. His first Fashion Film 'My Heritage, My Inheritance' shows the pride Laduma takes in his heritage and conveys his mission to "preserve our tradition and culture.
